GiveAFlight.com advertises nationally and sells Discovery Flight Certificates online. GiveAFlight.com is different from other national Discovery Flight programs. We don't just print coupons, we actually close the sale.

How it Works:

Redemptions

When a gift certificate is presented at your flight school, simply login to your GiveAFlight.com account and mark the certificate as redeemed. We'll send you the money minus a small transaction fee, about 5%. The fee covers the transaction costs, here is how it breaks down:

Explorer Discovery Flight - You perform at least a 20 minute introductory flight lesson and an additional 20 minutes of ground instruction. GiveAFlight Pays you $123.

Pioneer Discovery Flight - You perform a 1 hour introductory flight lesson and an additional 20 minutes of ground instruction. GiveAFlight Pays you $189.

Adventurer Discovery Flight - You perform a minimum 1.5 hour introductory flight lesson and an additional 20 minutes of ground instruction. GiveAFlight Pays you $284.

Expirations

GiveAFlight.com gift certificates are marked to expire after 6 months or in accordance with the applicable laws in your State. After 6 months, we will send you 25% of the funds for expired certificates. If you choose to link to GiveAFlight.com, we will send you 40% of the funds for any expired certificates if the sale originated from your web site.

Once you receive expired funds, you may do with the money as you wish. The onus is on you to comply with the applicable Gift Certificate Laws in your State. It is at your discretion whether to honor expired certificates, although we recommend that you do. Before honoring expired gift certificates please contact GiveAFlight.com to make arrangements for additional payment.
